Turning worries into hope - a journey in a possible world of tomorrow
The film Future Seeds focuses on a teenager who suffers from eco-anxiety. She is concerned about the increasing environmental pollution and the ignorant way adults are dealing with the future of our planet - she feels powerless and develops a mental illness known as eco-anxiety. For this reason, her aunt takes the young woman on an evocative “journey of awareness” in Europe. The aim: to inject her with those essential “future seeds” that help changing perspective and looking at things again with a constructive and courageous spirit.
On their life-changing journey, they meet impressive people who are committed to sustainability, environmental protection and the future of our planet in very different ways. They take measures to preserve and protect the oceans, generate bio fuels, utilise wind energy or the natural resource of human blood plasma for medicine.
One highlight is the project of the renowned Italian EcoArt artist Iena Cruz, who invites the two women to Biotest in Dreieich to present his impressive mural "LINFA", painted with anti-pollution paint. In discussions with the artist and Biotest CEO Peter Janssen, the two women explore the background to the project and other sustainability initiatives at Biotest.

An inspiring adventure about sustainable thinking and action
Future Seeds was shot in vibrant cities such as Turin, Carcassonne, Barcelona, Rotterdam, Istanbul, Frankfurt am Main and Dreieich and features sustainability projects born from brilliant ideas and developed by committed people, companies and start-ups. Such as the Biotest sustainability initiative GoFuture and our EcoArt mural "LINFA".
